Tired but fufilled

Today was the unceremonious end of spring break. All my friends came back from Greece, people came back from Scotland. But this morning/afternoon I went to the "city of London" This is the square mile in the middle of London, the original London. It is here that you can get more bang for your buck, there is St Pauls, Tate Modern Art gallery, St Andrews, millennia bridge, and more stuff. I went to St Pauls and the Tate Modern Art gallery. St Pauls is amazing, and I couldn't take pictures inside, so all I have is the outside. (which will be updated to my website soon) The dome at St Pauls is only second to the one in Rome( which I will see in less than two weeks!!) I thought it was a very apporitate way of ushering in the renaissance art that we will be looking at in my visual arts and media heritage class. I am going to write about it for school.

The Tate modern, was very cool, even if their bookstore looked like my room! They had a whisper chamber just like in St Pauls which I thought was an odd coincidence between the two. I also saw some very interesting pieces by Oldenburg. I think it will take awhile to process them both. I am going back to Tate modern soon, to revisit it.
