In Friends World there exists a looming shadow over your first two years. YOUR JR/SR RESEARCH PROJECT!!. This is a project that a student will devote over 9 credits to and over 100 hours. This is the climax of your educational experience.
I am now taking the Jr research seminar which is supposed to teach students how to conduct research and understand methologies.
The theme for my project is the very broad subject of comparing Eastern and Western educational styles in elementary schools. I will be looking at differing teaching styles, the differing ways teachers are taught, how the children behave, after school activies, and socialital pressures.
This take on global education is a brand new subject and while it is interesting there is almost no research done on it. So its just me out on the playing field. Which is nice but also scary. I have been doing some pre-research on the net and trying to gain some sense of what it is out there.
This is only the begining but I feel like this project is taking over my life. I hope I still like it when its over.

Need any help I have your neice and nephews that are all in elementry school in the states and have been in two states and I see a huge difference!!! Love ya!! Sissy
