I dont normally remember my dreams at all. But I had a weird one two nights ago that I keep thinking about. Dreams are the manfiestation of the junk you take in through out the day/or your life. I have been reading Ayn Rand and listening to A perfect circle - believe me it explain a lot. So with out further ado......
I am riding on this crowded bus in the middle of the night. A man sits next to me and talks to me. (I cant remember what he said) But I know it makes me think of what a interconnected world we live in. I arrive at my destination. It is a vast expanse of space. It is like the colloseum but made out of concrete. I walk around- not understand why I am here. I dont see anyone else. I pass a room, double back and look it. Inside a buddhist funeral rite was going on. The part where a relative is picking out the bones from the ashes and passing them to everyone else with chopsticks. The monks are chanting. I feel at peace. I move on and wander around more and the dreams ends.
Sooooooo.........
Interestingly enough dream to have around the first of the year uh?
I am trying to figure out my schedule for next semester.. I am thinking about studying belly dancing and taiko drumming for my indepedent study- any input?? I know they are not academic subjects but I want to devote as much time as possible to my Japanese study.

Well if you analyze your dream in the big book of dreams....
1. the bus...according to Jungian view riding on a bus or any other form of public transit suggest the dreamer is being too conformist. Therefore the bus in the dream can alert us to becoming more independent in our thinking.
2.the building...buildings often represent different aspects of ones self....strength or weakness.
3. the buddhist funeral rite....deaming of a funeral often expresses a solemn reflection not on death but on the moment of closure. However if it was someone who is still alive is symbolizes regret that the relationship is over or a want to end the relationship!
I hope this helped....I don't know much about all of your dream if it was in color what time of day ect...but that is the basics!
