This weekend was full of education, but in a good way. I went to the British Museum on Sat. but only toured the 1st floor, until you make fun of me, the first floor is HUGE. I took pictures of pottery mostly to help Jamie with her Sr. art show. I also hung around Russell Square for awhile. It is a tourist trap with street vendors everywhere. I haven't gotten up the courage to eat of off the vendor carts, but I will. Sunday I went to the Natural History Museum, which was HUGE as well. I went with a group of about 7 people, we only spent two hours in there because we got started late. I am going back myself, maybe with one other person. On the way there the Tube was amazingly packed so on the way back my friends and I took the Northern Line, which is usually less crowded than the Picadilly. The reason being...because it does go anywhere useful! We were dropped off in the middle of nowhere, which is a feat in London, and had to walk for 45 min to get to a bus stop, but by then we were almost to our dorm.
But I did learn something very delicious today...
They have carmel covered doughnuts here! with crunchy carmel bits on the side! yummy
