The holiday season is bound to make anyone annoyed. If its not the annoying christmas carols, the pressure to send out card to update everyone on what you did that year, or when you do decide to update everyone you find out you did nothing :).
But what annoys me most is shopping.
What?? You say.. little miss recreation shop girl.. you hate shopping?
I do.. only because I love technology.
It seems as though everything that orients itself with technology, the newest gadgets, the coolest games etc is all oriented under "Gifts for Him".
What? Are we as a society still caught up in the "women dont like technology unless its a new dishwasher" idea? msn.com, sears.com all have a link that says "Gift Guide for Him" or some variation on that theme. Amazon.com I found does gift by personality, or by relationship.
My point is being that dont fall for gender labels this holiday season, buy gifts based on what you think they want, but what society thinks they should have.
